Teapot Records was created to help independent artists release great music and to be a platform for creative projects.
Teapot is currently working with Michael Peter and together they have so far released two ep's and one debut album.
Michael is a natural singer songwriter from The Central Coast of NSW. His songs mix heart felt vocals and unique and thoughtful storytelling with influences from folk, roots, soul, and rock making for a truly unique sound that is hard to pigeonhole and a pleasure to listen to.
Michael's released two EPs, 'The 25 paper planes EP' (2007) and 'Patched Up Heart' (2008), both receiving airplay on Triple J, ABC radio, Nova and many local community stations nationwide as well as rave reviews in local and national press.
In March 2009, Michael released his debut album titled 'something along those lines' again recieving nationwide airplay and rave reviews. He began touring nationwide in February & March 2009 on 'My Favourite Tour' launching the single off the album 'My Favourite'. Michael will again be touring in May & June and thoughout 2009.

With the strength of
both ep's and an extensive back catalogue of songs Michael has secured
a publishing deal with Foghorn Publishing.
Michael released "The 25 paper planes ep" in 2007. It received Triple J airplay with the single "Twenty Five" and in the folk and acoustic category's on mp3.com.au the song "Paper Planes" from the same ep went all the way to number #1.
His 2nd ep "Patched Up Heart" (April 2008) was launched with an extensive national tour. He played to packed venues throughout the country while on the road for 3 months. The ep's single "Last I Heard" has received ongoing airplay on Triple J, ABC radio and Nova, as well as many local stations.
